Body wrap at home
The second stage of home spa treatments smoothly turns into the third and…. it’s time to do the body wrap.
Laminaria body wrap at home
Laminaria algae powder wraps are very popular. Having distributed all the prepared mixture of kelp powder over the body, you need to wrap yourself in a sheet, lie on a pre-prepared surface preferably a waterproof sheet on top, and cover yourself with a blanket.
Then close your eyes and lay comfortably for twenty minutes. Laminaria has a powerful anti-cellulite and firming effect.
If you want to use any other composition for body wrapping, do not forget about the basic rules! Apply the required amount of the composition to the skin in an even layer. It is most convenient to do this while standing in the bathroom or shower.
Wrap the composition with plastic wrap or sheet. The sheet is suitable if you are doing a full-body modeling wrap. With local wraps (stomach, legs), it is more convenient. Warm the wrap with a blanket and lie down and relax.
Excess water and toxins are removed during the wrap. A glass of clean water will replenish your moisture reserves, while green tea will enhance the detox effect. After 20-40 minutes, remove the film and wash off the wrap in the shower with warm water.
What to do after body wrap at home?
The best option after the wraps is to rest. DO NOT work out, go shopping or anything else that is physical. Better to do a home wrap at night, drink green or chamomile tea and go to bed. The wrap stimulates metabolic processes, and they continue even after you have washed off.
